Teen model Sailor Brinkley bags her first ever ad campaign for Claire’s accessories
In less than three months, Christie Brinkley’s 15 year old daughter has already bagged a magazine cover with her superm asics running odel asics running mom, as well as a solo spread in Teen Vogue.
Now Sailor Brinkley is cementing her burgeoning modeling career, appearing in her first advertising campaign for accessories chain Claire’s.
The smiling teenager models back to school backpacks featuring the names of boy bands such as One Direction, and poses with colorful notebooks and change purses.

‘The products at Claire’s are so fun and cool,’ Sailor told WWD.
‘I would definitely wear the sparkly accessories to parties and some of the bows and things to school.’
Sailor, who appears on the cover of Bella NYC’s
summer issue with her 59 year old look a like mother, said Claire’s was a place she would go with friends ‘as much as I could when I was younger.’
After Ms Brinkley proudly shared the cover photo on Twitter, writing: ‘Sailor, Chester and me on our first cover together since Sailor started modeling!’, Sailor admitted that she would like to follow in her mother’s footsteps.
‘I would love to be a professional model,’ she said.
Although Sailor’s mom is supportive of her career choice, she is protective. ‘Until Sailor is out of high school we are keeping it in perspective,’ said Ms Brinkley.

‘Sailor is first and foremost a student. Getting a good education will remain her primary focus. But I do think modeling is asics running a great learning experience.’
She added: ‘The benefits [of modeling] far outweigh the negatives. But like every mom, you wish you could protect your [child].
‘Her great sense of humor will protect her. Sailor has a good head on her shoulders so navigating her way around any negatives should be a breeze. She is, after all, named Sailor.’
